1) Centralize Your Information
With Coronavirus information flooding the internet, you likely have data stored in a number of places. Use an Issue page in FiscalNote to organize it all in one location for easy access by all team members. Sharing items in the Coronavirus Issue Overview such as internal response procedures, organizational resources, external talking points and media statements is highly recommended.

2) Get Alerts
There are already over 100 state bills introduced that reference Coronavirus or COVID. Use FiscalNote's Discovery Alerts to get automatic updates on new policy documents related to Coronavirus. Complete this survey if you would like the FiscalNote team to set them up for you.

3) Keep Up with News
While news sources are inundating the public with a large amount of information related to Coronavirus, or COVID-19, it can be a lot to sift through and take in. FiscalNote allows you to organize the news articles that are actually impactful to your organization in one location for easy access.
Add links to online news articles that are relevant to your interests via the Links tab in your Coronavirus Issue.

4) Create a Report
After uncovering policy documents that you need to monitor related to Coronavirus, make sure to add them to your Issue. Creating a Report for policy documents that have been added to your Coronavirus Issue provides all stakeholders with an understanding of the fast-changing policy landscape, allowing key decision makers to formulate response plans.

5) Engage Stakeholders
While in-person meetings and interactions may have slowed thanks to the outbreak, it doesn't mean that your hard work and efforts do too. Document phone calls, emails, and other remote activity using Actions in FiscalNote. Export a list of all your Coronavirus activities to quantify your efforts.
