If you have the System Administrator role, you may create new users in your account. You may create new users as long as you have available licenses. To create a new user:
- Click the Settings gear
- Click Organization Settings
- Arrive on the Organization page, with focus on the Organization tab
- Click the New User button
- The Create User modal appears
- Enter the user's First Name
- Enter the user's Last Name
- Enter the user's Email address
- Check the box to Send Email to User
- By checking this box, you prompt FiscalNote to send the user an automated email which includes a link to set their password
- Choose Segmentation option
- Organization Default Configuration: the user will receive the content that's available to all users in your account by default
- Custom Configuration: allows you to restrict the content available to the user. You will make selections for the following options
- Jurisdiction: choose data sets such as US Federal, US States, International Countries
- Content: choose the type of data within the chosen data set(s) such as Legislation or Regulations
- Features: choose additional features such as Reports or VoterVoice
- Click the Assign button
- New user's account is created with the Role of Users
- New user creation process is complete
