There are three ways that you can generate a report with active sessions.
1. New FiscalNote Experience Report
If you are on the New FiscalNote experience, you should be able to create a report with Active Sessions Filter.
Click on Reports > All Reports
Once you are routed to the Build Your Report page, select the Content Type and utilise all the other filters based on the details you need. Under Legislation Session Filter, you should be able to toggle on active sessions. Select all the bills that you want to be included then hit Create Report button.
2. Middle Reporting
When you are on Old FiscalNote Experience and you navigate to Reports, you will be taken to Build Your Report page but this time, you will not see a Sessions Filter:
The workaround for this would be to create an Issue folder for Old Sessions and another for Active Sessions. You can then include that Issue Folder on the report even without the Active Sessions Filter.
Once you have applied the necessary filters, select the policies that you want to be included then hit the NEXT: REVIEW AND EDIT button.
3. Old FiscalNote Experience
If you are on the Old FiscalNote Experience, you will be able to create a report with active sessions. You can do this by going to Reports > Reports & Exports (Legacy)
Go to the Data Tab > Select the applicable filters > Select the policies that you want to be included > Hit Create Report:
Things to remember:
- Generating reports may take time depending on the number of pages it has (about 100 pages should be good).
- If you are generating a long report (100 pages and above), you can instead share the report link so it would be easier to access by other stakeholders.
- Embedded reports shall auto update provided that you hit the Refresh button when you make changes to the report.
Note: We are constantly rolling out updates and making improvements in the platform. Please help us keep the Help Center up to date by reporting any information that may need some updating at support@fiscalnote.com.
