Switching to the new experience is quite easy. Just go to My Account found at the upper right side of your Dashboard beside your name initials then click on Settings > Account Settings:
Wait for a small banner at the bottom of the page to appear, then click on Enter New FiscalNote:
Wait for a few seconds for the new version to appear:
The same goes if you want to switch back to Legacy. Just go to My Account found at the upper right side of your Dashboard beside your name initials then click on Settings > Account Settings. Wait for the small banner to appear then click on Exit New FiscalNote:
Wait a for a few seconds and the page will restore to the Legacy version:
Questions you may have...
Q: Our organization has permanently switched to New FiscalNote, I can't find the Directory now.
A: On the new version of FiscalNote, the Directory can be found in the Stakeholders tab.
Q: My Saved Searches from Legacy are missing. Where do I find it in New FiscalNote?
A: Unfortunately, saved searches cannot be migrated to FiscalNote. You will have to recreate it. Meanwhile, you can email us and request for this feature to be added in the future.
Q: Where are the data sets in the Search filter? It's no longer there in FiscalNote.
A: When you perform a search, you will notice the filters at the right side of the page titled Content Type where you can select comments, dockets, regulatory notices, etc.
Q: Will my Discovery Alerts be migrated if I choose to switch to FiscalNote?
A: Yes, alerts from your Legacy account will be migrated. You even have the option to maintain Legacy alerts under the FiscalNote version.
