FiscalNote provides three ways to view state and federal legislative session information:
- Calendar view provides a chronological, date-based look at upcoming events and deadlines
- Session Date view is a simple, tabular representation of important dates for each Legislature
- Map view provides a high-level look at which states are in session and which are not.
If you would like this information synced with your calendars outside of FiscalNote, follow the instructions in this article.

The current day will show in light yellow. Switch between month, week, and day views by clicking the buttons in the top right corner of the map. Use the single arrow buttons to move forwards or backwards in time to the previous time span. Use the double arrow buttons to jump forwards or backwards in one year increments.
To view session dates, either hover over the Calendar icon on the left sidebar navigation menu and click “Session Dates” or visit https://app.fiscalnote.com/calendar?view=sessions. Session dates are available for the current and previous year.
