Saving complex searches prevents you from starting from scratch when you'd like to run a similar search in the future. Here's how:
1. You can either click the 'Alerts' tab at the top or type in a keyword on the search bar. This loads up the Search & Alerts page.
2. Type in your keywords, then scroll down the filters section at the left column and set according to your preference. In this example, we use the 'electric vehicles' keyword.
3. After you've set your filters, scroll up to the top of the page. You should see all the filters you have set in the 'Active Filters' section. Once you are satisfied with your settings, click 'Save this Search', then 'Save as New'
4. On the next page, you can create a title and a short description of your search. When you're all set, hit Save.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Q: Where is my Saved Search? I can't find it on the New FiscalNote?
A: If you have recently migrated from the Old FiscalNote (Legacy) to the New FiscalNote (Rebuild), your saved searches will not automatically be transferred. For now, you will have to re-create the saved search by copying the filters you used from Legacy to Rebuild. Or you can switch back to Legacy anytime to access your saved searches.
Q: I want to delete a Saved Search. How do I do that?
A: Currently, this is not an available feature on Rebuild. If you wish to delete a saved search, please email support@fiscalnote.com with the subject line: Delete Saved Search [Saved Search Title].
Q: Can I share a Saved Search to a colleague?
A: You can click on the Saved Search, get the URL link, and share that with your colleague (as long as they have FiscalNote access). They should be able to open it in their instance and save the search.
