Introduction
Over the course of 2020, FiscalNote collected client feedback on our clients' day to day responsibilities. We asked what the top concerns were for all organizations using FiscalNote. The number 1 answer, by far, was regulatory activity.
We're excited to introduce a brand new data set that will help State Regulations users save time: Rules & Notices. Use enhanced filtering options to search by comment period deadline, or browse new resources curated by FiscalNote analysts that aren't even located on state registrar pages, for example.
Review the information below to get a better understanding of what's new, how Rules & Notices differ from Regulations, and how to best use the new data at your disposal.

Linked Notices:
FiscalNote now combines top of the line data retrieval with the human touch. Not only are state registrar websites leveraged to provide the latest rules and notices, but analysts are also working behind the scenes to make sense of the updates for you: any original, proposed, EO, or other type of associated rule or notice is linked by our analysts on the right side of the page:
Rather than spending extra time browsing state registrar websites to find this information, save time by performing research right in FiscalNote!
Hearing Dates & Comment Deadlines:
Each Rules & Notices page has it's own section dedicated to important dates: Publication, Hearings, and Comment Deadlines. Hearings and Comment Deadlines are new and can be found in the middle of the page:
Just as with Linked Notices, save time by avoiding state websites -- use the information provided by FiscalNote to research important dates and deadlines!
