How does FiscalNote keep my account secure?

In order to ensure the security and integrity of your and your organization’s FiscalNote information, the following three security measures are in place:

• Password Resets every 90 days: As of 12/1/17, you will need to reset your password every 90 days. FiscalNote will send an automated message 5 days before each required password reset.
• Account Lockouts after 10 failed login attempts: You will be locked out of your account after 10 failed login attempts. You will receive an email notifying you of the failed login attempts and including a link to unlock your account. Once unlocked, you will be able to log in like normal or request a password reset.
• Auto-logouts after 3 days of inactivity or every 30 days: You will stay logged in to FiscalNote unless a) you do not access your FiscalNote account for a 3-day period or b) you last logged in 30 days ago.
